SIS- Xinhua: New phase of cooperation

State Information Service (SIS)  and the Chinese News Agency (Xinhua) celebrated on Tuesday, May 31, 2016,  the  launch of a new phase of cooperation between them.

 

The ceremony was held  at the SIS headquarters in the presence of Vice President of Xinhua News Agency Long Xinnan , SIS Chairman  Ambassador Salah Abdel-Sadek and the Minister-Counselor of the Embassy of China to Egypt Qi Qianjin.
 
This comes as a part of the celebration of the 60th anniversary of Egyptian-Chinese relations and the Egyptian-Chinese Culture Year. The celebration included the launch of linkage of SIS and Xinhua websites.
 
SIS website is launched in five languages including the Chinese. It is worth mentioning that Xinhua is launched in nine languages and is visited by about 100 million visitors a day.
