PM holds preparatory meeting for Egyptian-Jordanian committee session

Prime Minister Sherif Ismail held on Tuesday 30/8/2016 an expanded preparatory meeting to discuss projects to be discussed during the 26th session of the Egyptian-Jordanian Higher Committee.

The event is scheduled to kick off Wednesday under the chairmanship of the Egyptian and Jordanian premiers.

Cabinet spokesman Hossam Qawish said a number of agreements in the fields of manpower, vocational and technical training, air and marine services and mining will be tackled during the committee meeting.

The committee will also probe prospects of joint cooperation in the fields of health, housing and tourism, the spokesman added.

Today's meeting was attended by the electricity, interior, agriculture, international cooperation, tourism and trade ministers, as well as the chairman of the Suez Canal Authority and the head of the Egyptian Radio and Television Union (ERTU).
