Int'l Aviation Rally

Aviation Club of the Egyptian Civil Ministry organizes a festival to mark 100 years after the launch of aviation Rally. The event will be launched from the Greek island of "Crete", passing through Egypt and ends in Cape Town in South Africa .

Program of Rally, this year, comes in order to mark this trip which will take its place for five weeks. Around 60 pilots participate with 23 aircrafts from old models of "1920 to 1930" to fly in the same route of an old flight line. More than 15 foreign countries participate in the event.

Rally program will begin in Greece passing by the African continent via Egypt through the cities of Marsa Matrouh, Cairo, Luxor, Aswan and Abu Simbel crossing the Nile River, as well as, landing in the pyramids area for the first time in 80 years.
