Friday، 21 April 2017 - 12:57 PM

Tourism Minister Yehia Rashed intervened to solve the pilgrims' crisis which was caused by the delay of some Saudi flights heading to Jeddah and Madinah to perform Umrah.

He ordered forming a crises committee to solve the problem which resulted in the overcrowding of pilgrims.

Rashed told the Middle East News Agency on Thursday 20/04/2017 that he phoned the President of the Saudi Commission for Tourism and National Heritage, Prince Sultan bin Salman, who contacted officials of the Saudi Airlines.

The chairman of the Saudi Airlines will arrive in Cairo in the coming hours to solve the problem, the minister reiterated.
