Egypt, Canada probe promoting cooperation in higher education

Higher Education and Scientific Research Minister Khaled Abdel Ghaffar discussed on Thursday 20/04/2017 with Canadian Ambassador in Cairo Troy Lulashnyk bolstering bilateral cooperation in the higher education field.

The meeting, which was attended by Chairman of the Canadian International College (CIC) Magdy el-Qady, took up means of benefiting from Egyptian scientists in Canada in developing higher education in Egypt.

Abdel Ghaffar stressed, during the meeting, the depth of relations between the two countries, especially in the educational, scientific and cultural domains.

He further called for more cooperation between the Egyptian and Canadian governments via offering scholarships.

For his part, Lulashnyk said his country is keen on promoting cooperation with Egypt in the coming period, pointing out to the readiness of Canada to provide all means to help upgrade the educational process in Egypt.

Qady said that he looks forward to opening new channels for cooperation in higher education and scientific research domains.
