Jordanian King's Visit

President Abdel Fatah El Sisi received on Wednesday 17/5/2017 King Abdullah II of Jordan upon his arrival at Cairo International Airport.

The two leaders hold summit talks on ways of enhancing strategic relations as well as Egyptian and Arab efforts to break the stalemate in the Mideast peace process.

The summit also tackles challenges facing the Arab world and efforts to close Arab ranks.

An official reception was held for Jordanian King Abdullah II at the presidential Ittihadiya Palace in Heliopolis.

The artillery fired 21-gun salute and the national anthems of the two countries were played.

President Sisi and the Jordanian monarch reviewed guards of honor. The king then shook hands with Prime Minister Sherif Ismail and a number of ministers and senior officials.
