President Abdel Fattah El Sisi said he can accept a delay of 3-4 months in the development projects of the East Port Said Zone due to security measures taken in the area.
The President made the remarks in response to a question about the reason behind the delay of development projects in the area.
Meanwhile, Sisi revealed that the current projects in the East Port Said Zone cost more than EGP 80 billion, noting that this sum was raised in three years only.
On that score, the president lauded the Egyptian people’s will to develop the Sinai Peninsula.
He also said the Sinai projects require about EGP 275 billion, of which EGP 64 billion was donated by the Egyptian people.
