Sisi meets Abbas on Palestinian reconciliation efforts

President Abdel Fattah El Sisi stressed on Saturday 14/4/2018 the importance of pushing the Palestinian reconciliation forward and overcoming all the difficulties facing efforts made to achieve the Palestinian people's interests, Presidential Spokesman Bassam Rady said in a statement.
Meeting his Palestinian counterpart Mahmoud Abbas in Dhahran, Sisi hailed distinguished relations linking the Egyptian and Palestinian peoples.
He added that Egypt would spare no effort to help the Palestinian people regain their legitimate rights.
For his part, Abbas highly valued Egypt's firm stances in support of the Palestinian cause, affirming his keenness on continuing coordination and consultation with Egypt on the various issues of common concern.
Latest developments on the Palestinian arena as well as several Arab and regional issues were also tackled, the spokesman said.
The meeting was held on the sidelines of the 29th Arab Summit to be held on Sunday 15/4/2018 in Saudi Arabia's Dhahran.
