SIS, BUE to sign cooperation protocol Wednesday

 The State Information Service (SIS) said on Monday10/9/2018 that a partnership protocol will be signed between the British University in Egypt (BUE) Faculty of Communication and Mass Media on Wednesday19/9/2018.

A statement released on Monday 10/9/2018 by the SIS said the protocol aims at providing training opportunities for faculty students in various media specializations.

They would be also trained on organizing workshops, conferences and symposiums as well as holding public polls and researches.

According to the protocol, a specialized technical committee will be formed to outline executive plans for the joint activities between the two sides.

The protocol will extend for four years to start as of academic year 2018/2019.

The protocol will be signed between SIS Chairman Diaa Rashwan, BUE President Ahmed Hamad and Dean of Communication and Mass Media Faculty Mohamed Shoman.

In press statements on Monday 10/9/2018, Shoman said the protocol comes as part of the faculty's strategy to set up partnerships with the local, regional and international media foundations so as to enhance the graduates' opportunities to get specialized training after the end of their study and get briefed on the needs of labor market.
