President Abdel Fattah El Sisi said on Monday 29/10/2018 that several legislative measures were taken to lure foreign investors to pump investments into Egypt.

During a meeting with heads of several German giants in Berlin, Sisi invited German businessmen to make use of attractive investment opportunities available in Egypt, such as the new economic zones.

He underlined that the Egyptian government is keen on providing all needed facilities to attract German investments in the fields of petrochemicals and automotive industry.

Sisi also praised power projects launched by German companies in Egypt over the past five years.

Egypt will work on boosting aspects of cooperation between African countries and Germany during its presidency of the African Union in 2019, he added.

President Sisi arrived in Berlin on Sunday on a four-day visit to participate in the G20 Compact with Africa summit at an invitation from German Chancellor Angela Merkel.
