President El Sisi receives telephone call from Kenyan counterpart

President Abdel Fattah El Sisi has received a phone call from his Kenyan counterpart Uhuru Kenyatta, Official Spokesman for the Presidency said.
During the contact, Kenyatta said Egypt and Kenya have profound relations, adding his country is keen on boosting cooperation with Egypt in the various fields.
The Kenyan President also said Kenya appreciates Egypt's efforts to activate cooperation programs with Kenya.
President Kenyatta emphasized the depth of historical relations between the two countries and expressed his aspiration to reinforce their cooperation in all fields in line with the aspirations of their peoples.
For his part, El Sisi said Egypt's open-door policy toward African countries tops priorities of the country's foreign policy.
Sisi hails Kenya's positions which support Egypt at different international and regional forums.
It is important to maintain work to promote ties with special focus on the economic domain, added Sisi.
