Presidential Activity November 2018

During November 2018, President Abdel Fattah El Sisi's participation in World Youth Forum aimed at encouraging values of cooperation, peaceful coexistence, acceptance of the other and renunciation of violence.
The President also inaugurated the 14th international Biological Diversity Conference at Sharm El Sheikh. Egypt is the first Arab and African country hosted this event, which is the largest international conference of the United Nation in the field of conservation of biodiversity and environment.
President's meeting with officials followed up the economic reform measures and the implementation of the national projects being implemented throughout the Republic.
On the external level, President Sisi paid an official visit to Italy to participate in a mini summit of world leaders concerned with the Libyan file, which is one of the most important signs of the return of Egyptian-Italian relations to its historical and natural context.

November 18: President Sisi has attended a celebration organized by the Ministry of Awqaf (Islamic endowments) of Al Mawled Al Nabawi (Prophet Mohamed's birth anniversary).

November 18: Addressing a celebration, President Sisi said the message of Islam that was revealed to Prophet Mohamed (PBUH) was very keen to establish the principles and rules of peaceful co-existence among Mankind and the right of all people to a decent life regardless of their religion, color or sex. November 23: President Sisi made an inspection tour to the Suez Canal tunnels project in northern Ismailia and the ongoing construction work in the New Administrative Capital. More

November 25: In an address at the inauguration ceremony, President Sisi said the Communication and Information Technology sector has become a key element in supporting the state's development plans and a locomotive of building a competitive and diverse economy that depends on innovation and knowledge. More

November 25: President Sisi announced the launching of the Africa initiative for games and digital applications innovation.
November 29: President Sisi honored the national squash team for winning the world championship.
November 2: Under the auspices of President Sisi, the second edition of The World Youth Forum took place from November 3rd to 6th, 2018 in Sharm El-Sheikh, Egypt (The Land of Peace).
President's meetings with officials
November 10: President Sisi ordered finalizing all the measures required for establishing Egypt's sovereign wealth Fund in line with the latest globally recognized standards.




November 22: President Sisi directed the government to go ahead with its plan to turn into a digital government, through training cadres on how to work in a digital environment equipped with the latest technologies. Sisi's directives came during a meeting with Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouli and Communications Minister Amr Talaat.
November 22: President Sisi instructed the Administrative Control Authority (ACA), in coordination with bodies concerned, to proceed with its efforts needed for facing all forms of corruption in various bodies of the State.
November 29: President Sisi met Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouli for talks on the under-construction mega national projects. The meeting tackled the work progress in these projects that carried out nationwide.

November 15: President Sisi met Guinean Minister of State for Presidential Affairs and National Defense Mohamed Diane. During the meeting, President Sisi confirmed that Egypt is committed to supporting cooperation relations with the Republic of Guinea in various fields, voicing Cairo’s keenness that security and stability would be maintained in Conakry.

November 27: President Sisi receives Saudi Crown Prince Mohamed bin Salman Abdel Aziz. Salman’s two-day visit to Egypt is part of a tour of several Arab countries.

President Sisi participates in Palermo Summit
November 12: President Sisi heads for Palermo on a two-day official visit to Italy. President Sisi will take part in a mini summit of world leaders concerned with the Libyan file, at an invitation from Italian Prime Minister Giuseppe Conte.
