Health, Immigration ministers tackle benefiting from Egyptian doctors abroad

Health Minister Hala Zayed met on Friday 08/02/2019 with Immigration and Egyptian Expatriates Affairs Minister Nabila Makram to mull a joint cooperation plan to benefit from the expertise of Egyptian doctors living abroad.
Zayed hailed Makram's role in linking the Egyptian expats with their homeland especially regarding the medical file, Health Ministry Spokesman Khaled Megahed said.
The two ministers agreed on developing an action plan to organize visits for the doctors here to carry out operations in different specialties topped by the critical medical ones.
The Immigration Ministry will communicate with the doctors to begin preparations for performing the operations and holding training sessions for doctors.
Markram reviewed outcomes of the conference of Egyptian, Cypriot, and Greek doctors, living in the UK, held from October 29 till early November 2018, during which the Egyptian doctors asked for setting an institutional framework to organize periodical visits to Egypt.
