Constitutional Court head thanks Sisi for sponsoring African judicial meeting

The Supreme Constitutional Court led by its President Hanafy Ali El Gebaly on Saturday 16/2/2019 extended thanks to President Abdel Fattah El Sisi for sponsoring the third meeting of chief justices of the African constitutional and supreme courts.
The meeting kicked off on Saturday at the headquarters of Egypt's Supreme Constitutional Court in Cairo.
Gebaly said African cooperation at the judicial level is important, praising the launch of an electronic network to exchange information among the African countries.
He added that training courses are set to be organized soon for African judges.
The three-day conference is attended by delegations from 45 African countries representing their constitutional and supreme courts.
Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouli took part in the opening of the event, along with Minister of Justice Mohamed Hossam Abdel Rahim, Minister of Parliamentary Affairs Omar Marwan, in addition to several African ambassadors and Egyptian MPs.
Held under the auspices of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi, the event aims to foster cooperation among African states and their judicial authorities.
