During February 2019, President Abdel Fattah El Sisi inaugurated the first Arab League-European Union summit in the Red Sea resort city of Sharm El Sheikh. The summit focuses on the issues of strengthening regional security and stability and enhancing cooperation and partnership.
On a historic visit, President Sisi arrived to Ethiopia during which he attends the African Union (AU) summit and receives the presidency of the AU for the year 2019.
Also, President Sisi arrived in Germany to attend the Munich Security Conference (MSC) 2019 and received at his residence President and Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Rohde and Schwarz technology group Peter Riedel and voiced keenness on intensifying cooperation with the group in all fields of its specializations in view of its distinguished reputation and vast expertise in the technology and electronics fields.

February 2: During a meeting with Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouli and a raft of ministers, President Abdel Fattah El Sisi stressed the importance of stepping up the level of cooperation and building bridges of communication with African states.
February 4: During a meeting with Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouli, Minister of Planning, Follow-up and Administrative Reform Hala El Saeed and head of the Central Agency for Public Mobilization and Statistics Khairat Barakat, President Abdel Fattah El Sisi directed the government to continue implementing required procedures for the sustainability of the economic reform program to attract investment, increase production, support the economy and create job openings.
February 5: President Abdel Fattah El Sisi is chairing a plenary meeting at Ittihadiya Palace of executive, popular and student leaderships in Port Said. The meeting, attended by Port Said governor, the prime minister and a ministerial group.

February 2: President Sisi met a high-level Congolese delegation, grouping representatives of current President Felix Tshisekedi and his predecessor Laurent-Désiré Kabila. He said that Egypt will continue to support the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) at the political and development levels during the coming period.
February 3: President Sisi met German Federal Minister for Economic Affairs and Energy Peter Altmaier . He told German Federal Minister that Egypt was looking forward to promoting economic cooperation with Germany. The president also lauded the high level of Egyptian-German relations in all fields, which is to contribute to greater cooperation opportunities.
February 3: President Sisi met with a German delegation comprising CEOs and representatives of major companies and a number of German MPs. He said that Egypt highly appreciates the role played by German companies in achieving the country's economic and social development. The president asserted that Cairo succeeded in making major steps towards consolidating stability, for being the main pillar towards attaining economic growth. During the meeting, President Sisi told the German delegation that the country's underway economic reform program focuses on increasing spending on the development of health and education systems, with the aim of enhancing services offered to citizens, while supporting the most needy social classes.
February 3: President Sisi met International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Director General Yukiya Amano. He said that Egypt is keen on implementing the highest international standards of nuclear security and safety at El Dabaa nuclear power plant.
February 4: President Sisi met Burundian Foreign Minister Ezechiel Nibigira. He stressed Egypt's keenness on boosting relations with Burundi at all levels, particularly in the field of honing skills of Burundian cadres and exchange of expertise.
February 5: President Sisi met UAE Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah Sheikh Sultan bin Mohamed al Qasimi. He has appreciated the initiatives and efforts exerted in support of Egypt. President Sisi welcomed Sheikh Sultan, highlighting historic ties and common destiny binding Egypt and the UAE and their peoples.
February 13: President Sisi met the AUC's Board of Trustees, under its Chairman Richard Bartlett and the university's President Francis Ricciardone. He hailed the role that has been played by the American University in Cairo (AUC) throughout its history in serving the Egyptian education sector and society.
February 19: President Sisi met heads of the African constitutional courts. He hailed the pivotal role played by the supreme constitutional courts in Africa in activating judicial protection for African citizens and protecting the rights and freedoms of citizens. The president said the Egyptian constitutional court enjoys good experience and well-established traditions as it succeeded in overcoming many challenges during the past years.
February 19: President Sisi met members of a US committee, which backed the awarding of the Congressional Gold Medal to late Egyptian president Mohamed Anwar el Sadat for his efforts to bring about peace in the Middle East. He stressed the importance of strategic relations between Egypt and the US.
February 20: President Sisi met President of the Confederation of African Football (CAF) Ahmad Ahmad, which was attended by Youth and Sports Minister Ashraf Sobhi. Egypt is committed to providing all facilities necessary to make the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations tournament a success, President Abdel Fattah El Sisi said.
February 20: President Sisi received participants in the first regional conference of the Middle East and North Africa on enhancing international cooperation in face of growing threats posed by terrorist and money laundering operations. The conference, sponsored by president Sisi.
