Egypt strongly condemns terrorist attacks on New Zealand mosques

Egypt has strongly condemned terrorist attacks that targeted two Christchurch mosques, in New Zealand, leaving scores of innocent people dead and injured.
In a statement on Friday 15/03/2019, the Foreign Ministry offered its deep condolences to the families of the victims, wishing the injured a speedy recovery.
The statement asserted that Egypt stands by New Zealand and the families of the victims, saying that such cowardly terrorist act contradicts with all human principles and confirms the need for intensifying international efforts to fight terrorism that has no religion.
The Egyptian Embassy in New Zealand is following up the developments of this tragic attack and communicating with the authorities concerned, the statement added.
