PM tours Al Aqaletah House of Culture in Luxor

Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouli on Thursday 18/04/2019 toured Al Aqaletah House of Culture in Kurna village in the west bank of the Nile in Luxor.

He was accompanied by Culture Minister Enas Abdel Dayem, Local Development Minister Mahmoud Sharawy, Health Minister Hala Zayed and Luxor Governor Mostafa Alham.

During his inspection tour, the premier expressed his admiration of the latest technologies used in the house, as the village's residents could acquire knowledge through modern technologies.

In this regard, Madbouli said the state is interested in building the Egyptian personality and qualifying Egyptians at the intellectual, health and educational levels.

For her part, Abdel Dayem said the opening of Al Aqaletah culture house comes as part of the Culture Ministry's plan to renew and develop several palaces of culture in the cities of Delta and Upper Egypt, to provide all cultural services and technical skills for their residents.

The four-story Al Aqaletah culture house is built on an area of 775 square meters and includes a room for formal events and other halls for books, learning and training that suit citizens of all ages, she added.

It, also, comprises a public library, an information technology hall, and administrative rooms, in addition to rooms for theater and acting, she noted.
