PM follows up Sisi's directives on manufacturing rail wagons

Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouli held a meeting on Tuesday 17/9/2019 to follow up President Abdel Fattah El Sisi's directives on localizing the manufacturing of locomotives and rail wagons in the country.
The meeting was attended by Minister of State for Military Production Mohamed el Assar, Transport Minister Kamel el Wazir and Chairman of the Arab Organization for Industrialization (AOI) Abdel Moneim el Tarras.
El Assar posted the premier on a study prepared by his ministry to agree with the world's major companies specialized in the manufacturing of railroad cars.
The prime minister added that the government is fully ready to develop factories manufacturing train carriages, with a view to localizing this industry in the country in the near future.
The meeting touched on under-construction national projects in the fields of railroad and metro, said the cabinet spokesman Nader Saad.
