Representatives of Egypt's World Youth Forum (WYF) participated on Monday 18/11/2019 in the 11th UNESCO Youth Forum hosted by Paris on November 18-19 on the fringe of the 40th session of the organization's General Conference.

During a session themed: "Youth Engagement Form A Multilateral Perspective," the WYF representatives discussed a raft of issues, including the effective role young people could play to bring about a genuine change in the present time as well as in the future.

They also touched upon the important role of the WYF, which provides young people from all over the world with an opportunity to express their views on various contemporary issues and put forward their practical initiatives to deal with them in the presence of a host of world leaders and influential personalities.

The UNESCO Youth Forum was created in 1999 to provide young people with the opportunity to present their concerns and ideas to Member States and help shape the direction of UNESCO.
