Egypt & Germany ink deal on displaying artifacts at Minya museum

Egyptian Ambassador to Germany Khaled Galal inked on Tuesday 20/11/2019 a cooperation agreement between Egypt’s Supreme Council of Antiquities and the Prussian Cultural Heritage Foundation to upgrade ways of displaying artifacts at Amarna Museum in the Upper Egyptian governorate of Minya.
The ambassador said the German side would finance the first phase of the process at a total cost of €2 million, in addition to another $15 million to be provided later.
