Egypt, Equatorial Guinea mull boosting bilateral ties

Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouli has discussed with his counterpart Francisco Obama Asue of Equatorial Guinea how to promote bilateral relations in different fields.

They met on Thursday on the sidelines of Aswan Forum for Sustainable Peace and Development in Africa, which kicked off a day earlier in the Upper Egyptian governorate of Aswan.

Madbouli praised good ties between Egypt and Equatorial Guinea, adding that Cairo is keen to strengthen cooperation with the African country in all fields.

Asue lauded warm hospitality he received during his participation in the forum, appreciating his meeting with President Abdel Fattah El Sisi during his recent visit to Equatorial Guinea.

The Equatorial Guinean premier also underscored the importance of the forum, noting that his country aims to increase cooperation with Cairo in different fields.
