In November 2007: The Egyptian Assistant Foreign Minister for American Affairs visited the Republic of Peru. He held a series of meetings with government officials, parliaments and economists on ways of boosting bilateral relations between the two countries. The visit also focused on the exchange of views between Egypt and Peru about the most important international and regional issues, especially in the current Middle East issues.
