President Abdel Fattah El Sisi urged on Sunday 15/5/2016 to continue efforts to develop the wheat distribution system and ease the burdens on farmers.

The remark was made at a meeting with Supply and Internal Trade Minister Khaled Hanafi, during which he updated the president on the latest rates of buying local wheat from farmers, which hit 70 percent, or 2.6 million tons, till the morning.

Sisi ordered developing wheat storage systems and silos, and increasing their storage capacities.

He underlined the importance of easing all hardships facing farmers during their work.
