President Abdel Fattah El Sisi issued a republican decree on forming a steering committee of the Egyptian-Japanese education initiative.

The committee will be assigned with preparing and coordinating the initiative's content and following up performance and results regularly with the relevant bodies.

The Egyptian side of the committee will group the ministers of education, technical education and higher education along with the presidential adviser of the national security and representatives from the ministries of foreign affairs, international cooperation, planning, health and local development.
