Merrill Lynch advises international investors to invest in Egyptian T-bills

Saturday، 12 November 2016 - 11:23 AM

Bank of America's wealth management division "Merrill Lynch" on Friday 11/11/2016 advised international investors and financial institutions to invest in the Egyptian treasury bills.

It also made recommendations to buy T-bills to take advantage of the Egyptian market's attractiveness after measures taken by the Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) at the monetary policies level and liberalization of exchange rate.

In a research note, Merrill Lynch described the Egyptian debt instruments and treasury bills as a "promising market", inviting its customers to take advantage of the cheap Egyptian currency that reached record levels, a matter that increases investment in Egyptian debt instruments that are now in a better position.

Merrill Lynch expected that cash flow of hard currency would increase on the official market in the coming period after CBE took measures in this regard.
