Khurshid: Egypt seeks luring investments to education sector

Investment Minister Dalia Khurshid and Education Minister el-Hilali el-Sherbini discussed on Sunday 15/1/2017 challenges facing investors in the sector of international education who operate via American, Canadian, British, German and French licenses.
The meeting was attended by representatives of international schools in Egypt and the Central Bank of Egypt.
A joint committee comprising different stake holders will be formed to examine and evaluate the current operational models in international schools. The committee will submit a detailed report to the investment and education ministers to take the necessary steps needed to overcome these challenges.
Khurshid said the committee will support the relationship between investors and the ministries concerned.
