The 23rd Annual Conference of the International Association of Peacekeeping Training Centres (IAPTC) will be held in Cairo, Egypt, from 11-14 September,2017. The Conference will be opened by Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry with the participation of high-level figures from peacekeeping, police training and security studies centers from various parts of the world, as well as representatives of the ministries of defense, foreign affairs, culture and antiquities and the State Information Service.

The Conference is being organized by the Cairo Center for Conflict Resolution and Peacekeeping in Africa (CCCPA). The decision was taken during the 21st Annual Conference, held in Brasilia in September 2015.
