India's Bohra sect Visit

President Abdel Fattah El Sisi received on July 16, 2018 Sultan Mufaddal Saifuddin, the head of India's Bohra sect, accompanied by his brother Prince Qusay Wagihuddin, his sons Prince Jaafar Sadiq and Prince Taha Saifuddin and representative of Sultan of Bohra in Cairo Mofadel Hassan.

President Sisi underlined the historical ties between Egypt and Bohra sect. President Sisi also thanks Saifuddin for his efforts to renovate archaeological mosques in addition to carrying out charity works.

Saifuddin hailed the progress which Egypt realized at the security and stability levels.

He also extolled religious freedom in Egypt, underscoring the sect's interest in investing in Egypt.
