Abu Dhabi Crown Prince's Visit

President Abdel Fattah El Sisi welcomed Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE's Armed Forces Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed al Nuhayyan. They held talks on means of enhancing bilateral relations and reviewed the latest developments in a number of regional issues of mutual interest. President Sisi stressed Egypt's keenness on boosting strategic relations with the UAE in all fields. During the meeting, Sisi welcomed Al-Nuhayyan and his accompanying delegation, stressing that the Egyptian-UAE relations represent an ideal model for constructive cooperation among Arab countries. For his part, Al-Nuhayyan stressed that Egyptian-UAE relations are based on mutual respect, solidarity and cooperation to maintain security and stability in the Arab region.

He also praised the role played by Egypt to maintain regional security. The meeting tackled regional issues of mutual concern as well as means of boosting mutual cooperation to maintain Arab national security. They also reiterated their rejection of any interference in the domestic affairs of Arab countries and voiced their support for political settlement of the Mideast issues. Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al-Nuhayyan left Egypt Tuesday following a few hours visit. He was seen off at the Cairo International Airport by President Abdel Fattah El Sisi.
