Ambassador meets Serbia's deputy PM on boosting cooperation

Egyptian Ambassador in Belgrade Amr Al-Jowaily met Friday with Serbia's Deputy Prime Minister Rasim Ljajic.

 

The meeting dealt with ways of boosting bilateral relations in the trade, tourism and communication fields.

 

In a statement, the ambassador said the meeting mulled inviting Egypt as a partner and guest of honor in major Serbian tourism exhibitions and benefiting from Egypt's pioneering experience in floating hotels and river cruises by receiving a high-level governmental and private sector delegation to discuss launching joint projects in Serbia and neighboring countries.

 

The two sides also discussed the need for intensifying efforts in the field of civil aviation in light of ongoing studies for resuming direct flights between the two capitals.

 

In turn, Ljajic expressed keenness on developing the trade system between Egypt and Serbia in a way that achieves positive, tangible and rapid results in a number of priority sectors.
