Egypt, Serbia discuss boosting cooperation in tourism field

Red Sea Governor Ahmed Abdullah had talks on Friday with a Serbian delegation, currently visiting Marsa Allam, on terms of the Egyptian-Serbian Business Council agreement aiming at boosting cooperation in the tourism, investment and economic domains.


During their meeting, Abdullah thanked President of the Serbian Parliamentary Assembly Dragan Markovic Palma for his quick response and his visit to Egypt to sign the agreement.


He also thanked the Mayor of the city of Jagodina in Central Serbia Ratko Stevanovic and his accompanying delegation.


The governor noted that they will agree on a date for holding meetings between the two sides in Egypt or Serbia at the level of the business council or any other level as per the twinship agreement that was signed in Jagodina city to promote cooperation between Jagodina and Marsa Allam.


A meeting will be also held on Saturday between the Egyptian and Serbian businessmen in Hurghada city, he added.


For his part, the President of the Serbian Parliamentary Assembly stressed the necessity of enhancing cooperation between the two sides in the tourism field.


He added that he will invite Serbian tour operators to increase the number of tourists from Jagodina to the Red Sea.
