Egypt interested in achieving African peoples' aspirations – ambassador

Egyptian Ambassador to Tanzania Mohamed Gaber Abul Wafa said on Saturday 2/2/2019 that Egypt is keen on boosting cooperating with the African states to achieve the aspirations of their peoples towards development, security and stability.

Meeting Tanzanian Vice President mia Hassan Suluhu, Abul Wafa reviewed aspects of technical cooperation and joint coordination in terms of Egypt's 2019 of the African Union, to kick off on February 10.

The meeting mulled the main priorities of Egypt's AU presidency, topped by pushing forward the continental integration at the economic level.

Both officials hailed distinguished relations binding Cairo and Dodoma, citing visits of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi and senior Egyptian officials to Tanzania.

They tackled activities of Egyptian companies and businessmen operating in Tanzania and their role in fostering economic ties.
