Sisi leads legislative reforms on women economic empowerment – WB report
President Abdel Fattah El Sisi has led Egypt to carry out legislative reforms in the field of economic empowerment of women, a report released by the World Bank said on Sunday 3/3/2019.
The reforms adopted under Sisi have also contributed to promoting the rights of women.
The report detailed that Egypt has enacted several laws and amended existing rules to improve the businesses atmosphere, attract investments and remove many obstacles that hinder the participation of women in economic activities.
The British government-backed report was launched in cooperation with the Egyptian Ministry of Investment and International Cooperation and the National Council for Women.
