Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouli, accompanied by Housing Minister Assem el Gazzar, inspected on Saturday 24/08/2019 the new branch of the Arab Academy for Science Technology & Maritime Transport (AASTMT) in New Alamein city.

Gazzar said preparations are underway to open two faculties at the academy in September as well as a dormitory in conjunction with the beginning of the first term of the new academic year.

By the start of the second term, another two faculties would be inaugurated.

Established on an area of 62 feddans, AASTMT's new branch would include 12 faculties, 34 buildings, and a library.
