Saturday، 21 September 2019 - 12:43 PM

Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El Sisi is due to deliver Egypt speech before the 74th session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA), set to kick off on Tuesday.
The speech will focus on Egypt's vision and its stances towards the latest regional and international developments, especially in the domains of preserving world peace and security as well as fighting terrorism.
Economic, social and development topics alongside African issues, in light of Egypt's current presidency of the African Union, will feature high in Sisi's speech, said Presidential Spokesman Bassam Rady on Saturday.
President Sisi is scheduled to hold one-on-one meetings with a galaxy of world leaders on the sidelines of the UNGA meetings with the aim of boosting relations in all fields and exchanging viewpoints regarding regional and international issues.
The president is, also, set to address and take part in a number of high-level conferences due to be held on the fringe of the UNGA 74 to tackle current challenges facing the international community.
During his visit to New York, which started earlier in the day, Sisi will hold expanded meetings with notable US figures, officials and chairmen of companies for talks on enhancing bilateral relations and promoting US investments in Egypt.
