Egyptian, Kenyan culture ministers probe boosting bilateral cooperation

Culture Minister Enas Abdel Dayem held talks on Friday with Kenyan Minister of Sports, Culture and Arts Amina C. Mohamed on means to consolidate cultural cooperation between the two countries.

This came at a meeting held on the sidelines of the the 22nd Nairobi International Book Fair, held from 25-29 September 2019 at the New Sarit Convention Center Westland's Nairobi, Kenya.

During the meeting, Abdel Dayem underlined that Egypt and Nairobi enjoy unique relations, highlighting Egypt's keenness to deepen cultural ties with all the African countries, particularly in light of Egypt's current presidency of the African Union.

The two sides mulled means to boost cultural cooperation between the two countries and benefit from the Egyptian expertise in various culture projects, along with fostering cooperation between museums in both countries.

On her part, Mohamed praised Egypt's participation in the 22nd Nairobi International Book Fair.
