The Egyptian Exchange (EGX) indexes posted collective gains during this week’s tradings, according to the bourse’s weekly report.

The market capital gained EGP 5.7 billion to reach EGP 701.7 billion compared with EGP 696 billion in the previous week, recording an increase of 0.8%.

The EGX 30 benchmark index went up by 0.69 percent to register 13,824.16 points.

The EGX 70 index of the leading smaller and mid cap enterprises (SME) increased by 2.56 percent to stand at 536.82 points.

The all-embracing EGX 100 index went up by about 0.55 percent to settle at 1,390 points.
