Public Business Sector Minister Hisham Tawfiq discussed with Gabonese President Ali Bongo Ondimba means of consolidating joint cooperation in economic and trade fields.

The meeting, held during Tawfiq's first visit to Gabon, touched on pushing forward cooperation between Egypt and Gabon as well as prospects of investment and trade partnership in various fields, topped by timber, mining, agriculture and infrastructure, the ministry said in a statement on Saturday 25/01/2020.

Tawfiq asserted Egypt's keenness on promoting relations with Gabon in a way that serves the common interests of both countries and meets the aspirations of the two peoples.

Meanwhile, the Gabonese president hailed the constant development of bilateral relations between both countries, asserting that he is seeks fostering joint cooperation frameworks with Egypt in various fields.
