Egypt, S.Korea sign MoU to build plasma plant

The Arab Company for Drug Industry and Medical Appliances (ACDIMA) and South Korea's SK Plasma signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to establish a plasma derivatives plant in Egypt.

 

The announcement came during a ceremony held by the Egyptian Embassy in Seoul, in the attendance of Ambassador Hazem Fahmy, the Foreign Ministry said in a statement on Tuesday 11/2/2020.

 

The MoU comes within the framework of Presidential directives to enter into negotiations with several international companies to transfer plasma technology into the country, given that plasma derivatives are mainly used in curing blood and autoimmune diseases, the statement quoted Fahmy as saying.
