min.: Hosting WWEF in Egypt proves interest of women

Minister of State for Emigration and Egyptian Expatriates' Affairs Nabila Makram said Wednesday 4/3/2020 that organizing the 35th annual Women World Economic Forum (WWEF) in Egypt for the first time proves the great importance the country pays to women empowerment.
Addressing the two-day forum, held in cooperation with the National Council for Women under the auspice of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi, Makram cited that the Egyptian cabinet includes eight female ministers.
Such a move reflects the state’s confidence in women’s ability to contribute to the country's development, the minister added.
Makram highlighted the continued cooperation between her ministry and the National Council for Women in several initiatives.
