Military Spokesman Colonel Tamer el Refaee dismissed reports circulated on some social media websites about spraying disinfectants against coronavirus across the country from military helicopters.

The Armed Forces said the military spokesman’s official page is the army's only official source of information, stressing that they will continue stepped-up measures to combat the danger of the novel coronavirus in cooperation with all state bodies.

The military added that it would continue taking all measures that help ensure the safety and protection of the Egyptian people.
