Saturday، 13 June 2020 - 04:45 PM

Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouli asserted that the current phase requires everyone to work hard to increase production in order to overcome the consequences of the coronavirus.
This came during his inspection tour of a number of factories in the 6th of October city, including the new factory of Sumitomo in Egypt. He was accompanied by Trade Minister Neven Gamee and Chairman of the General Authority for Investment and Free Zones (GAFI) Mohamed Abdel Wahab.
During the tour, the premier followed up protective measures taken by the factory’s workers to stop the spread of the COVID-19.
Meanwhile, Chairman of Sumitomo Egypt Ahmed Magdy said that his factory produces cable harnesses and was supplied with modern equipment to maintain the safety of workers.
He added that the factory was established in just six months after obtaining necessary licenses.
Magdy pointed out that his company has recently established two new factories in Giza's 6th of October City and Port Said governorate with total investments of 50 million euros.
