Egyptian churches condole with Lebanese people on Beirut blast victims

The Egyptian Orthodox, Catholic and Evangelical Churches offered their sincere condolences to the bereaved Lebanese people over the victims of Tuesday's huge explosion that jolted the Lebanese capital, Beirut.

Pope Tawadros II of Alexandria and Patriarch of St. Mark Diocese sent a cable of condolences to the Lebanese government and people to express deep sorrow for the victims of the huge blast that left 73 persons dead and over 2,750 others injured.
In a statement, the Catholic Church in Egypt expressed Patriarch of the Coptic Catholic Church Ibrahim Isaac's great sorrow for the victims of this dreadful accident.
Also, Head of the Evangelical Church Andrea Zaki offered his sympathies to the families of the victims, saying he is shocked and deeply saddened by the huge explosion that rocked the Lebanese capital, Beirut.
