Bourse gains EGP 5.3 bn, all indexes up

The Egyptian Exchange (EGX) indexes posted collective gains during on Sunday's trading session, backed by purchases of local institutions and investment funds, against selling operations by Arab and foreign investors.
The market capital gained EGP 5.3 billion to close at EGP 602.3 billion, after transactions that totaled EGP 1.6 billion.
The EGX 30 benchmark index jumped 1.34 percent, hitting 10,962.52 points.
The broader EGX 70 index of the leading small and mid-cap enterprises (SMEs) rose by 1.01 percent, standing at 1,604.04 points.
The all-embracing EGX 100 index was also up 1.15 percent, recording 2,464.75 points.
