Minister of Housing, Utilities and New Urban Communities conferred on Tuesday with top security officials at the police administrations responsible for enforcing law and banning any forms of violations in the new cities.

In a statement released on Tuesday following his meeting with security officials in the New Urban Communities Authority (NUCA), Gazzar noted that there are strict directions from the political leadership to control any building violations in the new cities and enhance the urban expansion in the new communities in a way that conforms to the history and civilization of Egypt.

He said these cities should be a model of the civilized and urban appearance of the country, asserting the need for banning any building violations in the new cities. He highlighted the important role of security administrations in the new cities to keep security and enforce the law on all people without any bias and use of force. The minister also pointed out a new unit on building violations will be established in the NUCA to regularly follow up any violations and remove them.
