Sports min., S. Sinai governor open camel race festival in Sharm El-Sheikh

Youth and Sports Minister Ashraf Sobhy and South Sinai Governor Khaled Fouda inaugurated on Friday 09/10/2020 the camel racing festival in Sharm El-Sheikh in conjunction with Egypt's celebrations of the 47th anniversary of the October War victory.
Finance Minister Mohamed Maeit was present at the virtual opening ceremony.
In a statement, Sobhy said the Sports Ministry always works on promoting all kinds of sports across the country, noting that over 2,500 camels from 10 governorates partake in the festival.
All the anti-coronavirus measures are taken during the event, the minister stressed.
Meanwhile, Fouda thanked Sobhy for his unwavering support for holding the festival, saying more camel racing events would be held within the coming period to attract Arab participants.
