Tuesday، 01 December 2020 - 02:09 PM

Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry will head to Riyadh on Tuesday morning to chair a political consultation committee between Egypt and Saudi Arabia, set to convene tomorrow at the level of foreign ministers.
The committee’s work will include an in-depth dialogue between the two brotherly countries on growing challenges in the region and ways to deal with accelerating developments in regional and international files of mutual concern, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a statement Monday.
Convening the committee affirms mutual solidarity between Egypt and Saudi Arabia in facing what poses a threat to their security, stability, and Arab national security in general, the statement added.
The committee’s talks are scheduled to touch on means of pushing forward bilateral cooperation in a way that reflects relevant orientation adopted by the political leaderships in both countries, it noted.
