Sisi opens 1st expo for vehicles' clean energy conversion technology

President Abdel Fattah El Sisi inaugurated on Monday the first exhibition showcasing technologies of converting vehicles to run on natural gas.
President Sisi was briefed on the plans and programs outlined by ministries and government authorities within the framework of the national initiative to replace and convert vehicles to run on natural gas, especially the various financing programs and facilities available to citizens, Presidential Spokesman Bassam Rady said.
During his inspection of the government pavilion at the exhibition, the president was also updated on the efforts exerted by the State to create an integrated infrastructure to serve the natural gas-powered vehicles.
The government pavilion involves the ministries of trade and industry, finance, military production, petroleum, local development, environment, interior, and transport, in addition to the Central Bank of Egypt and the Arab Organization for Industrialization.
President Sisi also toured the pavilions of major international and local auto companies.
