PM: Egypt able to host World Men's Handball Championship despite Covid-19

Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouli asserted on Saturday 09/01/2021 his confidence in Egypt’s ability to organize the 2021 World Men's Handball Championship despite the COVID-19 pandemic
In his meeting with Sports and Youth Minister Ashraf Sobhi, the premier followed up the final preparations for the championship, which will be hosted by Egypt from January 13 to 31.
The competition, which will see the participation of 32 teams for the first time, will be held in four handball courts in New Administrative Capital, Cairo International Stadium, 6th of October city and Alexandria’s Borg Al-Arab city.
Madbouli also reviewed the protective measures that will be taken to prevent the spread of coronavirus pandemic during the competition.
The measures will cover the playing courts, public transportation means and hotels.
