Health and Population Ministry asserts sufficient medical oxygen at Alex's Karmouz hospital

The Ministry of Health and Population denied news circulating on the social media that the medical oxygen tanks at Karmouz Insurance Hospital in Alexandria ran out.
Spokesperson for the Health Ministry Khaled Megahed said that the liquid oxygen storage at the hospital is 11,500 liters which are enough for operating all the beds of the intensive care and the internal beds for five days.
Megahed asserted that medical oxygen is available at all the hospitals all over Egypt, adding that the ministry is following up the storage of medical oxygen and the rates of consumption in addition to the number of busy beds and ventilators.
